RITA M FORD, 93, of Cocoa Beach, FL
She moved to Cocoa Beach from District Heights, MD. Rita was a WWII, U.S. Army nurse veteran and worked as a nurse and nurse educator with the Washington, DC Health Dept. She was a volunteer as a nurse with Birthright of Cocoa Beach for over 25 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Roland R Ford; daughter, Carolyn F Ford and brother, Eugene Sebastian, surviving are children, Susan (Joshua) Stark, Jean (Henry) Zehr and Alan (Mary) Ford; grandchildren, Rebecca, Daniel, Alexandra, Christopher, Elizabeth, Nicholas and great-granddaughter, Emma. A Mass of Christian burial will be held March 8, 2014 at Church of Our Saviour with Military Honors. Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach is serving rhe family.
