Stella Chastain Hale, 82 of Rossville, Georgia departed this life Tuesday, March 4, 2014. She was born in Chattanooga to the late Hosea & Molly Chastain. She later retired from LaDean Shop in Rossville, and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Chickamauga.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and Andrew Chastain, sister, Luda Chastain Massey, and "The Love of her Life" husband, Rev. Daniel "Dan" Hale, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Daniel "Danny" (Annette) Hale, Jr. of Rossville, Yvonne (Garrin) Templeton of Chickamauga, Sheila (Sam) Wiley of Ooltewah, Mark (Cindy) Hale of Chickamauga, grandchildren, Angela, Anna, Sarah, Tiffany, Logan, Chloe, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 8, 2014 in the chapel with Bro. Larry Underwood, Bro. Bill Broom, and Bro. Steve Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, and prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
