Richard D. Ledbetter, 67, of Wichita Falls, died on Monday, March 3, 2014.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Richard was born on February 10, 1947, in Albertville, Alabama. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later worked for the city of Wichita Falls as an inspector. Richard was an endowed member of Faith Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward A. Ledbetter and a brother, Jimmy Ledbetter.
Richard is survived by his wife, Alletta Ledbetter of Wichita Falls; his children, Patrick Ledbetter and wife, Sharon, of Houston, Shannon Henson and husband, Wendell, of Lake Dallas and Keith Ledbetter of Lawton, OK; his mother, Violet Phillips of Boaz, Alabama; 5 grandchildren; sister, Joan Killian and husband, Mickey, of Guntersville, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
