Albert R. Angstadt, 72, died at his home near New Jerusalem, from a paralytic stroke which he suffered three months ago. There survives his widow, Eliza (Conrad) Angstadt; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Scheetz, Fleetwood; three sons, Walter and Herbert, Topton, and Paul, at home; one adopted son, Ray, of Oley; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Daniel, Fleetwood; Samuel, Pennside; Edwin and George, Reading, and a sister, Mrs. Oliver Eidle, Oley.

The remains of Albert R. Angstadt, New Jerusalem, were laid to rest on Wednesday afternoon, April 15, at the church of that place. He was a son of Joseph and Sarah (Rohrbach) Angstadt. Born May 23, 1857, baptized in infancy and confirmed in Spies church by Rev. Yeager in early life. Married to Elizabeth Conrad, September 15, 1883, by Rev. D. K. Humbert. Of three sons and two daughters, all survive excepting one daughter; his wife, one adopted son, four brothers, one sister, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Of thirteen in his family, he was the eighth to depart this life on Friday, April 11, aged 72 years, 10 months and 18 days. Undertaker J. J. Schofer and Son, Topton, were in charge.
