Patrick C. Arnold

Rosary for Patrick C. Arnold, 50, of Camarillo, will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Griffin Brothers Funeral Chapel in Camarillo.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday by Monsignor John Hughes at the St. Mary Magdelen Church chapel on Ventura Road in Camarillo.

Burial will be in the Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard.

Born March 17, 1936, in Wharton, Ohio, Arnold was a Ventura County resident for 20 years. He lived four years in Oxnard before he moved to Camarillo where he lived for 16 years. He moved to Oxnard from San Diego.

He was a retired heavy machine mechanic for the Ventura Regional Sanitation District where he worked for eight years. He previously retired from the U.S. Navy, where he served for 20 years. During that time he served in Naval Construction Battalions and served in Vietnam.

He was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Church.

He is survived by one son, Cletus of Camarillo, three daughters, Bernadette, Anissa, and Monique, all of Camarillo, three brothers, Frank, Robert and Richard, all of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and one sister Florine Howard of Lancaster, Pa.

Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Monday at Griffin Brothers Funeral Chapel in Camarillo.
