Edna F. Gittermann, 92, died June 13, 1995 at Graham Hospital. Services were held June 16 at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
She was born Oct. 4, 1902 at Middle Grove, the d/o Daniel & Minerva Wasson Wheeler. She married Edward Potts. She later married Carl B. Gittermann on Sept. 20, 1947 at Chicago. He died Dec. 2, 1973. She was also preceded in death by one son, Paul Potts, one brother and one grandson.
Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Lyle "Opal" West, Lewistown; Mrs. Ruby Pollitt and Mrs. Robert (Garnette) Dunning, both of Canton; nine grandchildren; 15 gr-grandchildren; two half-brothers: Wayne Wheeler, Lewistown; and Walter Wheeler of Canton; three half-sisters: Mildred (Lester) Viers, Des Moines IA; Donna Haggerty and Nadine Childers, both of IL.
