Kimberly "Kim" Chowning-Owens, age 51, of Greenbrier, TN passed away at Skyline Madison Campus Alive Hospice. She was born in Springfield, TN to Roy Lee Bagwell and Linda Hunter Bagwell on May 24, 1960. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Bagwell and daughter, Candace Owens. A Celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 at 12 Noon at the Springfield Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Freeman and Bro. Bobby Jarrell officiating. She loved scrapbooking, drawing, reading, interior decorating and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Springfield, TN. She is survived by her father and step-mother, Roy Lee & Barbara Bagwell, Springfield, TN; husband, Tony Owens, Greenbrier, TN; son, David Owens, Springfield, TN; brother & sister-in-law, Tim & Rhonda Bagwell, Hendersonville, TN; sisters and brother-in-law, Tammy Hughes, White House, TN, Lisa & Alvin Stacey Smith, Springfield, TN; 2 grandchildren, William Anthony Bibee & Arianna Bibee. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 from 2-8PM at the Springfield Chapel and Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, 10-12 Noon the time of the service. Final resting place will be the Cross Plains Cemetery with Tony Owens, Todd Birdwell, Alvin Stacey Smith, Logan Hughes, Ricky Heatherly, Don Starks, & Jordan Hughes serving as pallbearers.
