KERRVILLE - Paul H. Lewis went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2005, at the age of 90.
He was born on August 11, 1914, in Brussels, Illinois.
Mr. Lewis was a World War II veteran. He was part of the Normandy Landing on Omaha Beach and participated in the Liberation in Paris, France. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl F. and Mary Jane Lewis; his first wife and mother of his children, Eva Wallendorf, and his wife of 42 years, Anna Martin.
He is survived by his sons, Paul Jr. and wife Ellen, Brother Edward, Francis and wife Lauren; daughter, Donna E. and husband Nash; grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, and Paul and his great grandchildren, Kristine and Kathryn. He will be deeply missed by all.
Mass will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, with Father Greg Nevlud, celebrant. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
