Death of a Bright Boy
Master Richard Barrett, the 14 year old son of Mr and Mrs Richard Barrett, residing at 353 North Centre Street, died yesterday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock at the home of his parents of typhoid fever after an illness of four weeks. At the time he was taken sick, Master Barrett was a messenger boy for the Postal Telegraph Company and also at one time messenger for the Western Union Telegraph Company. He was a bright little fellow and great esteemed by the patrons of both companies.
