Funeral services were held in a funeral home in Winterset and burial was in the Quincy cemetery Adams County. The sad nature of the funeral was the fact that the mother with an eight-day-old baby was unable to attend the funeral.

Little Son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gravett Buried at Corning
Alan Russell Gravett, 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gravett of near Winterset, died last Saturday at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines.
The child was born at Corning on Sept. 9, 1938. He is survived by his parents, a brother Ronald, and a sister, Vicky Rae.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in charge of the Rev. W. A. Samp, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made near Corning.
