Mrs. Clara Goppert

Mrs. Clara M. Goppert, 59, of the Chester-Newell Rd. died at 1:20 p.m. Saturday at East Liverpool City Hospital following an illness of three days. She was born in Chester Aug. 3, 1925, a daughter of the late William Bennett and Irene Bennett. She retired as a cashier at the Solo Service Station of Newell in September. Previously she had been employed 25 years at the Homer Laughlin China Co. of Newell. She is survived by her husband, James F. Goppert, whom she married Feb. 6, 1947, at home; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Mason of Scarborough, Canada. Services are to be held at the Arner Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Bill Gilliland of the First Christian Church in Chester officiating. Burial is to be in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and until the time of service Tuesday.

Frederick and Clara had no children.
