Ray, Janice J., age 53, passed away Jan. 26, 1994, in Lancaster. Mrs. Ray was a native of Huntington Park, Calif., and a resident of the Antelope Valley most of her life. She was employed at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center as a nurse in the OB Dept. for 15 years. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Ray of Palmdale; two children, Jeffrey R. Ray of Palmdale, Jennifer L. Padilla of East Hartford, Conn.; five sisters, Arlene Clayton of Downey, Judith Pullen and Joleen Davenport, both of Scotts Valley, Calif., Barbara Lupold and Betty Lupold both of Ventura. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, at Murphy Mortuary Chapel. Chapel service at 11 a.m. Monday Jan. 31, with Pastor Zane Springer officiating. Interment to follow at Lancaster District Cemetery.
