MRS. ALLIE T. DEY DIES AT BEAUFORT
Body To Be Brought To New Bern This Morning For Interment.
News reached New Bern yesterday morning of the death a few hours earlier of Mrs. Allie D. Dey, which occurred at the home of the deceased in Beaufort. The deceased was one of the most estimable ladies in Eastern North Carolina, and was greatly loved by her many friends throughout the State. She is survived by her husband, Mr. C. P. Dey, and one sister, Mrs. S. D. Swindell, of Wilson.
The body will be brought to New Bern this morning on the nine o’clock train from Beaufort, and will be buried in Cedar Grove cemetery. The funeral service will conducted at the cemetery immediately upon the arrival here, by Rev. J. B. Hurley, presiding elder for the New Bern district, M. E. Church South.
