Daughter of Susan D. Salisbury (Saulsburg or Sadelsburg) and Dr. Samuel Dudley.

She married in Carteret Co., NC, December 7, 1868, Charles Pittman Dey. He was born November 14, 1844; died July 8, 1932; buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery, New Bern, NC.

She died of Pneumonia at age 74y, 1m, 24d; buried in New Bern, NC, June 8, 1917.

Her estate was probated in Carteret Co., NC, in 1917 with her husband C.P. Dey as Administrator. Beneficiaries were her husband, C.P. Dey, age 75, and her niece Allie Dey Dudley, age 16.

MRS. ALLIE T. DEY DIES AT BEAUFORT

Body To Be Brought To New Bern This Morning For Interment.

News reached New Bern yesterday morning of the death a few hours earlier of Mrs. Allie D. Dey, which occurred at the home of the deceased in Beaufort. The deceased was one of the most estimable ladies in Eastern North Carolina, and was greatly loved by her many friends throughout the State. She is survived by her husband, Mr. C. P. Dey, and one sister, Mrs. S. D. Swindell, of Wilson.

The body will be brought to New Bern this morning on the nine o’clock train from Beaufort, and will be buried in Cedar Grove cemetery. The funeral service will conducted at the cemetery immediately upon the arrival here, by Rev. J. B. Hurley, presiding elder for the New Bern district, M. E. Church South.
