Juanita T. Austin, 71, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rob Lowery officiating. The family will meet friends on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society , 804 Cherry St., Macon GA 31201. The family may be contacted at the residence.
Mrs. Austin was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Lewis E. and Annie Turner, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn W. Austin, son, Charles (Charlie) Austin, brother, Lewis Turner and sister, Dorothy Lowery. Mrs. Austin was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Dixie Bearings, Inc. She was a devoted and loving, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
