Janet Marie Neely Cummings, 80, of South Charleston, W.Va, formerly of Witcher, Belle, W.Va, died January 11, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice West, South Charleston, after a long illness. Mrs. Cummings was preceded in death by her husbands, Matthew C. Neely II and Lester Cummings; her parents, Henry and Vivian Ester Mullins Young; sisters, Mildred Paxton and Betty Buckner; and brothers, Junior and Ronnie Young. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 14, at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle, W.Va, with burial following at Witcher Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 13, and one hour before service Sunday. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Gideon Internataional, Box 8091, South Charleston, W.Va. 25303 or to New Hope Animal Rescue, Box 461 Scott Depot, W.Va. 25560. The family expresses special thanks to the staff and management of Valley Center, South Charleston for their excellent care of their mother.
