Judy Irene Lane Ramsey, age 70, of DeKalb, Texas, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, March 3, 2012 in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Ramsey was born February 14, 1942 in Athens, Texas to J. T. and Lois Irene Pirkle Lane. She married Tony Warren Ramsey on September 27, 1974 in Collinsville, Texas.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, family reunions, R.V. Trips, genealogy, reading and crocheting.
Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents, J. T. and Lois Lane, her sister, Rose Watkins.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Tony Ramsey of DeKalb, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Dana Durham of Gainesville, Texas and Robert and Jan Durham of Azle, Texas; four daughters and a son-in-law: Beverly Smith of Collinsville, Texas, Janean Durham of Woodbine, Texas, Natalie Riddels of Gainesville, Texas and Tomi DeAnn Gerami and Fred Castillo of La Marque, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Marla Crump of Deport, Texas and Nina Gatlin of Grandview, Texas; and a brother: James Lane of Alvarado, Texas.
