Nathaniel (or Nathanel) Bancroft of Granville, Hampden, Massachusettes (1768-1828), m. 1791 wife Charity Stowe (1774-1848). Nathaniel was the son of Lt. Lemuel Bancroft (1741-1801) # 71572104 and Comfort Munson (1748-1824) # 71572170 both also from Granville, Hampden, Massachusettes. Nathaniel & Charity moved to Portage County Ohio about 1805.

Children: Nathaniel & Charity moved to Portage County Ohio about 1805.

Their first three children were b. at Granville, Mass.; then they "removed to Ohio." Children: I. Statira Bancroft, b. Jan. 3,1793.
