Patricia J. "Pat" Chronister, 64, of Marysville, PA, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her residence. . Pat was born in Harrisburg, PA on June 2, 1949, the daughter of the late Isabelle Headings and Gerald M. Rudy. She was a former rural postal carrier and a retired postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Marysville and Camp Hill, PA. Pat was a member of the Marysville Lionesss Club and the Red Hat Society. The widow of Frank F. Chronister, Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy L. Eckert, wife of Jeffery, of Loysville; a son, Frank F. Chronister, III, and his wife, Jill, of Duncannon; a sister, Barbara Haught, of Milton, PA, three brothers, John Rudy, of New Cumberland, Gerald Rudy, of Dauphin and Richard Rudy, of Tennessee; Her Special Granddaughters: Kaitlynne, Megan, Kirsten and Lauren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Feltman. A visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. There will be no services. Interment will be at convenience of the Family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
