Natalie (Turner) Atkins, aged 83 years, of Middleboro, passed away, Friday, December 27, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Donald K. Atkins; they had been married for 60 years. She was daughter of the late C. Donald and Delpha (Barstow) Turner. She was a graduate of Middleboro High School, class of 1948. She was a lifelong homemaker as her greatest legacy was her family. Her favorite past-time was spending time with her grandchildren and especially enjoyed baking cookies for those in need. She also looked forward to spending summers at the Onset home. She was a lifelong and very active member of the Church of Our Saviour, serving as a greeter, member of the E.C.W. and Chancel Choir, and was chairman of the Cookie Table for numerous fairs. She volunteered at the former St. Luke's Hospital, and dedicated 40 years of faithful service to the Nearly New Shop in Middleboro. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children: Paul Atkins and his wife Anita of Lakeville, Linda Kirschner and her husband Robert of Lakeville, and Patricia Chase and her husband Jeffrey of Middleboro. She was the grandmother of 7 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Richard Turner of Lakeville, and a sister, Virginia Cahoon of Taunton.
