Rudolph Pilgrim Rites Are Today

KEWAUNEE, Wis.-Funeral services for Rudolph Pilgrim, 71, who died at his home
here Saturday morning after several months' illness, were held at 2 o'clock
this afternoon at Svobda Funeral Chapel. The Rev. J.M. Jacowski officiated
and burial was in Tisch Mills cemetery.
Mr. Pilgrim was born March 11, 1881, in West Kewaunee. As a young man he moved
to the town of Carlson, where he farmed until 1930. At that time, he moved into
Kewaunee and was employed by the Svoboda Church Furniture company.
He married Anna Franz Stangel in Norman Feb. 13, 1912. She survives with a
daughter, Mrs. Viola Fiala of Kewaunee; two stepsons, Emil Stangel of Norman
and Dr. Earl Stangel of Manitowoc; three brothers, Gustav and Herman Pilgrim
of Edgar, Wis., and Louis of West Kewaunee; three sisters, Mrs. Alex Boehler
of West Kewaunee, Mr. Otto Ullmann of Luxemburg and Mrs. Zahn of West Kewaunee.
