Mr. Ray Tomlin, 65, of Griffin, died May 16, 2002. He was born Dec. 27, 1936 in Jasper County. He was retired from T& T Meats in Jonesboro. He was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2002 in the chapel of Harwell Funeral Home, Covington, Ga. The Rev. Tim Conort will officiate and interment will be at High Point Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sybil Mobley Tomlin, Griffin; children, Mrs. Wanda Liles, McDonough, Mr. Christopher Tomlin, Monticello, Mr. Steven Tomlin, Fayetteville; mother, Mrs. Geneva Tomlin, Lawrenceville; brother, Mr. Jack Tomlin, Lawrenceville; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Mr. Runnie Tomlin and sister, Mrs. Joan Tomlin Davis.
