Brenda Carol Baxter, 65, Greencastle, passed away on Feb. 27, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on Sept. 26, 1948 at Cedar Bluff, Va., and was the daughter of Frank Lane and Carol Sue (Whitt) Baxter.
She is survived by her mother, Carol Sue Baxter, Greencastle; her sister, Shiela Altmeyer and husband Phil, West Newton; her brother, Larry Baxter and wife Sue, Greencastle; several aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Coatesville Primitive Baptist Church She was preceded in death by her father Frank Land Baxter; her sister, Nancy Ann Baxter; and her brother, Frankie Darrell Baxter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 7 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 6 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
