Wilma Jean Lyons, 84, of Bement died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday (March 2, 2014) at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello, Illinois.
She was born Sept. 21, 1929 in Decatur, Illinois, a daughter of Gordon and Hazel Webb Gulliford. She married William John Lyons on July 3, 1948 in Bement. He passed away on Dec. 3, 1972. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Gulliford and sister, Dorothy Strohl.
Surviving are her children, John (Maralee) Lyons and Vicki Lyons; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a brother, Gordon Gulliford.
She was a bookkeeper at the Piatt County Courthouse in Monticello.
