Flaucie Louise Richardson Atha was born September 18, 1924 in Amity, Arkansas—one of seven children.

She quietly passed into Heaven's gate February 15, 2012 when she went to rejoin her family in Heaven: Husband George Edward Atha, mother and father John Riley and Zoe Evelyn Wheeler Richardson, sister Mary Lois, and brothers R.J, Idos, and Leo Richardson.

Those left to cherish her memories are daughters Sandra Womble and her husband Dean, Iris Jean Crawley and her husband Allen, grandson Daryn Womble, granddaughters Dawn Garrison and her husband Bob, and Deana Mercer, great-grandsons Dean Scott Womble, Eddy Lee Mercer, Tyler Oakes, Wade and Wyatt Garrison, great-granddaughters TeAnna Sparks, Gabrielle Garrison, great-great grandsons, Eric and Mason Mercer, great-great granddaughter, McKensie Mercer, brother, Jerry Richardson and his wife Betty, and sister, Altie Williams. Also many nieces and nephews and one special niece Risa Richardson Harmon.

Louise was a member of 3rd Street Baptist Church, member of OES for over 50 years, EHC, Pioneer Club, Golden Agers Club, Fair Board Planning Committee, and Baptist Health Medical Center Auxiliary member where she volunteered over 5000 hours.

Louise spent her last years at Windsor Care Center, Terrell, Texas where she was referred to as their "Social Butterfly" flitting from room to room visiting and making people laugh at her stories, delivering mail and helping in the lunch room until she broke her hip in 2008.

Louise loved her family and friends and all who knew her loved her smile and her cooking, especially her famous chocolate pies and coconut cakes.

Funeral services were at 2 PM Sunday, February 19, 2012 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia, AR.
