June M. Willis of Naperville for 15 years.
The visitation for June M. Willis (nee Puddicombe), 83, formerly of Wilton, Conn. and Mount Prospect, will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect.
Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery.
Born Sept. 2, 1925, she died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Brighton Gardens, Prospect Heights. While putting her family first, she was a preschool teacher for many years. A member of the Cress Creek Garden Club of Naperville and Past President of the Mount Prospect Junior Women's Club. She was very active in the South Church in Mount Prospect and more recently the Wesley United Methodist Church in Naperville. She was the beloved wife of Leonard C. Willis ; loving mother of Roger (Christine) Willis , James (Carole) Willis and Barbara (George) Lehocky; cherished grandmother of Sarah (Paul) Romanek, David Willis , Steven Willis , Daniel Willis and Jeffrey Willis ; dear great-grandmother of Rylie Romanek; and fond sister of the late Marjorie Healey.
