Harriett Marie Allman Bradley, 80, of West Lafayette, passed away at 10:59 AM Saturday, September 13, 2008 in her home at Friendship House. She was born July 26, 1928 in Curran, Illinois to the late Clarence and Josephine (Smith) Allman. Her marriage was to Robert L. Bradley on January 7, 1945 in Springfield, Illinois. He died September 15, 1991.
Mrs. Bradley was a homemaker. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed quilting, sewing and making clothes for her children. She also enjoyed gardening, walking with friends and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Rosetta Sheets of Orange City, FL, JoAnn Taylor (husband: Fran) of Tilton, IL, Patricia Shuee of West Lafayette, Dee Dee Marinski (husband: Jack) of Lafayette, Dan Bradley of Orange City, FL, Christopher Bradley (wife: Rhonda) of Newtown, IN, Dorothy Morris (husband: Jeff) and Ruth Cox both of West Lafayette; two brothers, Max Allman (wife: Linda) of Edinburgh, IL and James Allman (wife: Mary Kay) of Springfield, IL; and two sisters, Judy Lascody (husband: Bob) and Doris Wartenbe (husband: Jim) both of Springfield. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death with her husband & parents are several brothers and sisters.
