Orville John Harris, 75, of Atkins, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at St. Vincent's Medical Center at Morrilton.
He was born May 25, 1938, at Atkins, son of Orville and Mae Forrester Harris.

He was one of the founders of the Atkins Riding Club, member of the Chuck Wagon Association, Quarter Horse Association, Atkins Adoration Church, Crazy J Chuck Wagon racing team and was a retired livestock hauler.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Frances Harris; and sister, Daisy Tilley.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ennis Harris; son and daughter-in-law, John Wayne Harris and wife Tonia; daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda Golden and husband Greg, Cheri Campbell, and Wendy Wiley and husband Randy; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; six brothers, Leon Harris, Billy Harris, Sherman Harris, Charlie Harris, Floyd Harris, and Larry "Pee Wee" Harris; two sisters, Evelyn Biswell and Pamela Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2014, at Lemley Chapel, with the Rev. Charley Casto officiating, under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Lemley Chapel.
