Archie Ray Penland, 77, of Morristown, died Sept. 4 at his home. He was born Dec. 7, 1908 in Sulphur, Okla. and lived in Arizona for 39 years.
Survivors include his wife, Violet M. Penland; one brother, A.L. Penland, of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Florence McIntosh, of Lawton, Okla. and one step-daughter, Diane Johnson of Jerome.
Memorial services were Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Delbert Henderson officiating. Private interment of the remains was in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
Arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
