HUDSON -- Born December 19, 1939, died February 22, 2014.
Sherry attended Sacred Heart Grade School in New Philadelphia, and graduated from Dover St. Joseph High School, class of 1957, where she was a cheerleader. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 1962 and later received a Master's Degree in Education from Kent State University.
She taught elementary school science a total of 33 years, mostly with the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools. She loved to play the bagpipes. She really loved Ohio State Football and deeply hated Michigan. She was a remarkable woman who has left her influence on many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, DM Andrews. She leaves behind, son, Richard Musgrave Potts (wife Heather) of Hudson; daughter, Laura Lee (Potts) Williams of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Jackson Potts, Adam Potts, Sarah Potts, Rebecca Williams, Rachel Williams and Kadin Williams; and sister, Nan Musgrave Olson of Quincy, Ill.
At Sherry's request, there will be no memorial services. A brief funeral service was held Friday, February 28th at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton Ohio.
