PISKUR, JOSEPH A. - Age 89, passed away Thursday, August 20, 1992 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Born in Rockdale, a lifelong Joliet resident. Preceded in death by his parents Louis and Agnes (nee Golobitsh) Piskur; two brothers, Louis Piskur and Anthony Golobitsh; one sister, Agnes Princic. Survived by his wife, Anne A., nee Fabian; five children, Joseph (Joan) Piskur, Thomas (Mary) Piskur and Lawrence Piskur, all of Joliet, Judith (John) Pomatto of Bartlett, IL, Mary Ellen Head of Oregon, IL; eight grandchildren, one sister, Ann Metzger of MA; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral from GRANT-TAPELLA-FREITAG WESTWOOD MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3201 W. Jefferson St. at Essington Rd., Monday, August 24, 1992 at 9:30 a.m. to Sacred Heart Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Masses would be preferred.
