SAN ANTONIO — Sheila Ann Sullivan, 66, of Kerrville, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013, in a San Antonio hospital.
She was born in Flint, Mich., to James W. Danz and Lucille L. (Schmidt) Danz on Oct. 23, 1946.
She was married to Danny Sullivan on April 14, 1965, in Kerrville.
Sheila graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville and then went on to attend Licensed Vocational Nursing School. She received her LVN degree in 1974. She was an LVN for Peterson Hospital for 26 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and James Danz.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 47 years, Danny Sullivan; sister, Paullette Eades and husband, Herb Eades; and sister-in-law, Jane Danz. She is also survived by grandchildren, Christopher Sullivan and wife, Zetoine Sullivan, Casi Johnson, and Colin Brown; nieces and nephews, Jessica Solis and husband, Gilbert Solis and their children, Jason Eades and Casi Eades, Jeremy Danz and Jennifer Danz; and good friends, Jackie Ledbetter, Bobbie Golden and Nina Brown.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 19, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Grimes Funeral Chapels with the Rev. Walter Day of Victory Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Kerrville.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. W. C. O'Donnell and Dr. Roger Moblad and all the many others who provided loving care for Sheila.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
