Ruth C Moravia, 95, of West Groton Rd, Groton (Town of Lansing), died Saturday, December 20, 2008. Mrs Moravia was born September 21, 1913 in Ithaca, a daughter of the late Frank and Harriet (Richards)Roberts. Ruth was a lifelong resident of Lansing and was a 1932 graduate of Lansing High School. She was a devoted homemaker and farm wife, and she enjoyed knitting sweaters and tatting. Ruth was a member of the North Lansing Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, two granddaughters, and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Herbert E Moravia in 1999; by her daughter, Bonnie L Baldwin in 1994;
by her brothers, Carl & Fitch Roberts and George W North; and by two sisters, Pearl Potts & Grace C Carlson.
