Nina Louise Kasey Wallace, 67, of Roanoke, departed this life on Thursday, February 14, 2008. She was born February 8, 1941 to the late Helen Cooper Kasey and James F. Kasey. Nina was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Robert Kasey. Surviving are her husband, David A. Wallace of Roanoke, VA; two daughters; Sherian S. Cabbler of Suffolk, VA and Tameko L. Barnette of Roanoke, VA, two grandsons, Ronald G. Cabbler Jr. of Suffolk, VA and Jamarr A. Cabbler of Chesapeake, VA ; two great-granddaughters, Roniah G. Cabbler of Suffolk, VA and Samiyah Cabbler due to arrive June 2008; four sisters, Dorothy Jones, Patricia Kasey, Shirley Muse and Althea Law; one brother, James Kasey; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Elder Marvin Jones officiating. The interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
