Dianne Lynn Meeuwsen Brooker, Mulliken, Mich., died Feb. 12, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 1, 1948, to the late Norbert and Verona (Smits) Meeuwsen, De Pere, Wis. Dianne graduated from St. Joseph Academy and Saint Norbert College with a B.A. in English. On Aug. 20, 1971,

Dianne married Thomas G. Brooker. They spent 42 years together until Tom died on Nov. 14, 2013.While raising their family in Menasha, Dianne frequently participated in volunteer activities to support local schools and was an active sponsor of various youth organizations and Girl Scouts. She was a longtime member of Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church of Neenah, Wis. Dianne worked for many years in the publishing industry, including Pisani Graphics and Banta Corporation, both located in Menasha. She was passionate about reading, education, and family. Dianne also enjoyed fishing with her husband, watching the Green Bay Packers play and playing cards with her brothers.

Dianne is survived by three children, her son, Daniel Brooker, San Antonio, Texas, her daughter-in-law, Connie Brooker, Plantersville, Texas; and their children, Madison, Joseph, Lauren and Nicholas Brooker; and her daughters Clare Corcoran and Jane Brooker, Mulliken, Mich.

She is also survived by her brothers, Paul (Alice) Meeuwsen, De Pere; and John Meeuwsen, Appleton; her sister, Karen (Ron) Halper, Winnetka, Ill.; her sisters-in-law, Linda Meeuwsen, Green Bay; and Carol Meeuwsen-Jones, Oshkosh; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Tom,

Dianne was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret, her brothers, Nicholas and Gary, and her son-in-law, Timothy Corcoran.

Burial will take place in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
