A longtime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Patty grew up in Peru as a missionary kid. She graduated from Erlanger School of Nursing and Covenant College where she met her husband. They served as missionaries in Peru before returning to Chattanooga where she continued her nursing career and served her Lord Jesus.
She was not only gifted with an angelic personality but the voice of an angel as well. She loved to sing and blessed many with her gift as she praised the Lord in song.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nick Cochran and sister, Rena.
Survivors are her husband of 41 years, Mark Wilson; daughters, Anna (Dan) Cook and Becca (Bill) Johnson; mother, Emily Cochran; sisters, Edie (Ken) Mogg, Judy (John) Southworth, Rhoda (Bill) Huxtable and Amy (Ron) Dunton; six grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Kirby, Joshua, Nathan and Elizabeth.
Memorial services will be held 7 PM Tuesday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 8451 E. Brainerd Road with Dr. J. Render Caines officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-6:30 in the church fellowship hall.
