Michael James Dickson, 69, of South San Francisco passed peacefully on February 25, 2014. Born November 29, 1944 in Los Angeles to Constance O'Neill.

Michael served in the Air Force in Vietnam and joined the South San Francisco Police upon his return. Mike retired as Traffic Supervisor in April 1999 after 32 years on the police force, 27 of those years on a motorcycle.

Michael was a member of the South San Francisco Police Association, Municipal Motorcycle Officers of California; Peninsula Peace Officers Association and a Life Member of the California Peace Officers Association.

Survived by his long time partner Bonnie Frazier of Brisbane, Ca; former wife Gail Dickson of South San Francisco; Nephew Joe Birkeneder, his wife Marty of Hamilton, MT, and their son Michael of Mill Valley, CA; Niece Mary Hudson, her husband Russell and their children Michaela, Wyatt and Julia, of Bonner, MT., brother-in-law Claude Birkeneder and many friends and colleagues.

Preceded in death by his stepsister Alice Birkeneder, and survived by her husband Claude Birkeneder; his mother Constance O'Neill, and stepfathers Garges Dickson and Maurice Creevan.

Michael James Dickson's presence in this world will truly be missed.

Friends may visit between 4-8pm Mon., Mar. 3rd, Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, So.SF., where a Vigil will be held at 7pm. Funeral Service will be held at Garden Chapel at 9am on Tues., Mar. 4th.
