Marilyn Agnes Cain, 81, of Alpena, Michigan, passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.

Marilyn A. St. Charles was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 9, 1932 to the late George St. Charles and Agnes (Hawkins) St. Charles.

On August 18, 1951 she married Donald Lee Cain.

Marilyn A. Cain was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church, the Choir, past president of the Ladies Sodality, member of the Red Hats, Eagle Auxiliary, and past president of Elkettes in San Benito, Texas.

Surviving were her husband, Donald Cain; 7 children, Cathy Orlowski, Kenneth (Karol), Robert (Sally), Brenda Johnston, Ellen Clearwood, Judy Rose, Marcia Shaffer; 15 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jessica, Drew, Lisa, Bryan, Sarah, Spencer, Emily, Jared, Brandon, Ian, Elliott, Mitchell, Alex, Joshua; 7 great-grandchildren, Ava, Grayden, Amelia, Evan, Cole, Stella, Ellijah; 2 sisters, Carol (Bernard) Mousseau, Joyce Hier; 1 brother, Thomas (Sherri) St. Charles; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Lisa Diane Cain.
