She was born April 22, 1925, in Williford, Arkansas, to Coleman and Jessie Lee Bayers Morgan.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sons, Thorton Eugene and Johnny Lavain Lester; two brothers; four sisters; and seven grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Leon Lester of IN, Bill Lester and Bobby Lester both of FL, James Lester and George Lester both of AR; daughters Rayetta Carroll of IN and Debbie Kirkpatrick of MO; thirty-two grandchildren; sixty-seven great-grand-children.
Funeral services were in the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Burial was in Bradford Cemetery in Ravenden.
