Michael Hodge, 29, of Fitzgerald, died Friday, February 21, 2014, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. His cousin, Rene Alligood, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Michael was born October 4, 1984 in Irwin County. He attended Fitzgerald High School and had worked at KFC. Michael had lived in the community all of his life. He was very loved and had many friends who will miss his smile.
He is survived by a host of family including parents: Barbara Hodge of Gainesville, William Lester and Kevis & Michele Battle of Fitzgerald; grandmother: Sherry Alligood of Fitzgerald; aunt: Linda Clements; uncle: Kelly Alligood; sisters: Kerri Battle of Fitzgerald, Brenda Tillman of Fitzgerald, and Niyah and Courtney Coleman of Douglas; brothers: Benard Lester of Fitzgerald and David Lee Lester of Dublin; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
