Mr. Donald Ray Polk, age 56 of Griffin, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

Mr. Polk was born in Griffin, Georgia on March 12, 1957. He was preceded in death by parents, Hyrum and Doris Polk, his first wife, Kathy Polk; sisters, Shirley Mote and Elizabeth Moore.

Mr. Polk worked for many years for R.D. Service Center in Riverdale, enjoyed and was a member of North Griffin Congregational Holiness Church. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include, his wife, Debbie Polk; step children, Jodie Polk, Mickey Kendrick and beloved pet puppies; sisters and brother-in-law, Carlene and Rick Richards, Linda and Donald Buffington; aunts and uncles, Jean Tolleson, Charlotte Busbee, Brenda Fisher, Roy Polk, Waymon Polk; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Marsha Stonsypher.

Visitation for Mr. Ray Polk will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Gene Luke will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
