She was born on May 22, 1965 in Richmond to Gerald Williams and Mary Ellen (Gabbard) Luellen and lived in Cambridge City all her life.
She was a 1983 graduate of Lincoln High School, attended Purdue University and graduated in 1987 from Ball State University.
Lori worked at the Fayette County Prosecutor's Office for 4 years in child support and also worked for a year at McDonald's as a prep cook.
Lori was a Bible Study Fellowship graduate and a children's leader for 5 years. She sponsored the Montgomery-Whitewater Jr. Historical Society group for 10 years, was a former member of Western Wayne Heritage, served on the Library Board and volunteered in the history room. Lori belonged to First Baptist Church in Cambridge City.
Survivors include her husband, Scott Griffin of 23 years. Three daughters, Hannah, Abbey and Sydney Griffin. Parents: Gerald and Sharon Williams and Mary Ellen Luellen all of Cambridge City. Two sisters: Diana (Clint) Fultz of Indianapolis, IN and Lee Ann (Brent Schondelmeyer) Williams of Independence, MO. A brother: Cole (Julie) Williams of Cambridge City. A lifelong friend, Huby Thomas of Columbia, MO. and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a step-father, Richard Luellen.
Friends may call from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2010 and from 10:00 AM until the start of the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, IN with Pastor Dan Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
