Stevens, Agnes Ann – age 61 of Knoxville, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a longtime member of the Knoxville Baptist Tabernacle and most recently a member of West Park Baptist Church. She was a graduate of East High School Class of 1964. Ann was a long-time employee of McWhorter & Co. and a local realtor. Preceded in death by: her parents, Ben and Ruth Stevens; sisters, Laura Terry and Sue Stevens; nephew Rusty Terry. She is survived by: two sisters, Blanche Bowman, Bennie Pittman and husband Ken; brother-in-law, Bill Terry; three nieces, Tammy Parrott, Joy Peace and Kim Mann; nephews, Ben, Steve, Phil and Lewis Terry; special friends and neighbors, Clara Cate, Vonda Jennings, Dot McMahan, Dot and Dale Savage, Pastor and Mrs. Bob St. John, Dr. Richard Layman, June Neilson, Dorothy Trotter and longtime friend, Betty Wolfe. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Friday at the main entrance of Greenwood Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Brother Bob Bevington and Pastor Sam Polson officiating. Pallbearers will be: Ben, Steve, Phil and Lewis Terry, Steve and Dustin Parrott, Wayne Peace and Greg Mann. Friends may call at their convenience after noon Thursday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
