ASHLAND – Madine Brooks Whitehead, 77, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at her home in Ashland. Madine was born on January 7, 1937 to Nathan and Leon Watson Brooks in Benton County, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and a member of the Charity Pentecostal Church in Chalybeate, Mississippi. She was a loving wife and mother and grandmother.
Services will be at noon Saturday, March 1, at Medlock Methodist Church. Burial will be in Medlock Cemetery at Ashland. McBride Funeral Home of Ripley is in charge of arrangements.
