He entered the U.S. Army in October 1952 and served in the Korean Conflict until receiving his Honorable Discharge in September 1954.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Jess & Lova Taylor, two sisters, Opal Hutton and Emmabelle Pierce and an infant brother, Thomas Taylor.
Funeral services for Mr. Taylor will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the Oglesby Christian Center with Rev. Mike Morris and Rev. Joe Goodin officiating. Interment will be in the Oglesby Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
