Bobbie Arlene Maberry died February 27, 2014 in Murray, Utah. She was eighty-one years old.

She was born August 22, 1932 in Missouri. Her parents were Arlen Richard Pulliam and Dock Stinnette. She attended Freemont High School in Fremont, Missouri.

She retired from The Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention, where she was employed as an Executive Secretary during her work years. She also served for twenty-three years as the Director of the Women's Missionary Union (WMU).

Following her retirement, Bobbie began her voluntary service as Director of the Kearns Food Pantry. She worked tirelessly to involve people of all faith groups to join this ministry for the people of Kearns and Salt Lake County.

Friends described her as "an angel in disguise" volunteering her time and energy demonstrating her love of people and her love for serving God. The ministry gave her great joy.

She also loved working with people of different cultures. Bobbie championed the Vietnamese Community in the greater Salt Lake area, helping them to establish and grow a thriving Vietnamese Baptist Church.

In addition to serving people as an expression of her faith, Bobbie loved to cook and paint. She was a very gifted artist creating many beautiful oil paintings. She loved to paint for members of her family. She also loved cooking and never found a recipe book she didn't like. She found her greatest joy in her family, particularly her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Carter Wayne Maberry (Sherry Hielscher Maberry), and her daughter, Jacquelyn Lee (Maberry) Jameson (David Lorrin Jameson). She was predeceased by her husband, Carter Lee Maberry; and son, Richard Dale Maberry. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tristan Arlene Burbridge, Sherry Elizabeth Maberry (Jody Kaplon), Amy Lynn Maberry, Ian Richard Jameson, and Bryan Alexander Jameson; and her great-grandson, Cody Dean Burbridge; as well as her sisters, Billie Annette Pulliam Klepzig (Ray) and Karen Lee Pulliam Brake (Doyle).

The family looks forward to remembering her with you. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South. Friends are invited to visit with the family following the services from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. All who shared her life are invited to attend.
