Funeral services for Don Reynolds, 53, of Lufkin will be held in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Chaplain Bob Harbuck officiating. Interment will follow in the Crawford Cemetery.
Mr. Reynolds was born August 10, 1960 in Lufkin, Texas to Carolyn Yvonne (Langford) Reynolds and the late James Reagan Reynolds. He died Sunday, February 23, 2014 in a Lufkin nursing facility.
Mr. Reynolds had worked as a desk clerk at Holiday Inn Express for 15 years, and had lived in Lufkin all his life. He enjoyed reading, especially Tom Clancy and Louis L'amour, and playing chess.
He is survived by:
* his mother, Carolyn Reynolds of Lufkin
* his daughter, Erin Dickerson Hearn of Lufkin
* two granddaughters
* brother, Darrell Reynolds of Douglass
* sister, Ronda Harvill of Lufkin
* ex-wife and lifelong friend, Charlotte Dickerson
* numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives
