MARY SWAIN PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Mary Ellen Swain, native of Atascadero, and resident of Santa Margarita, died at a San Luis Obispo hospital Thursday Morning at the age of 64 years.

For the past 40 years she had been a resident of Santa Margarita and had a wide circle of friends in that district, who join with her family in mourning her passing.

She is survived by her husband, Charles P. Swain, and the following brothers and sisters: L.S. Sumner, George Sumner and Sandy Sumner, of Santa Margarita; Mrs. C. A. Hutcheson, Santa Barbara; Mrs. John Johnson , Santa Monica; Mrs. E. P. Bean, San Luis Obispo, and Mrs. N. B. Remick, Mrs. Thomas Johnson and Mrs. N. A. Jackson, of San Margarita.

Funeral services will be at the Richardson funeral parlors on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock and will be private. Interment will be at Santa Margarita cemetery.
