Peggy Ann (Cecil) Harvill Manlove, 82 of Madisonville, TX passed away on February 24, 2014 in Bryan. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00AM Friday, February 28th at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville with Bro. Lanier Stevens officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 – 7PM also at Day Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow on Saturday at 3PM at Raymondville Cemetery in Raymondville. Peggy was born on May 2, 1931 in Raymondville, TX to Haskell and Ruth (Stallings) Cecil. She worked for many years for Tuloso-Midway Independent School District before retiring to Madisonville. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, D.L Harvill; and her daughter, Virginia Hardin. She is survived by her children, Irene Mangum and husband Phillip Ripke, Danny Harvill and wife Debbie, Jody Gantz and husband Ron, and James Manlove and wife Stacy; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Martha Kasner, Margaret O'Neal, and David Cecil; and special friends, Mary Lou Simmons, Dolly Davis, and "The Ladies of the Stichin Hens". Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons and great-grandsons; Josh Gantz, Jason Gantz, Matt Harvill, Brandon Mangum, Cody Mangum, Ryan Mangum, and Danny Mangum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Brazos Valley.
