SOUTH BEND - Imogene Reid, 73, of South Bend passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Indiana University Methodist Hospital Indianapolis. She was born on May 7, 1940, In Trenton Tennessee, to the union of Sherman and Cora Lee Moore. She married Robert Earl Reid. She is survived by her children; Jessica R. Reid, Johnnie D. Reid, Tychania M. Reid, Hakeem Hogan and Raven Hill, grandchildren Noah Reid, Josyiah Reid, Taurean Reid, Elijah Reid, and Deziyer Ross, all of South Bend, and she cared for Hakeem Hogan and Raven Hill as if they were her own children. She is survived by her sisters Verna Mae Muriel of Trenton, Tennessee, Maxine Moore of Rochester, New York, Claranell Moore of Haman, Louisiana and a host of family nieces and nephews. Imogene was proceeded in death by her Parents, and her husband Robert Earl Reid, her Sister Josephine Moore, Ruth Whitlock and one brother Henry Leon Moore. A Memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday March 1, 2014 at Alfords Mortuary Imogene will be sorely missed, both a host of family, nieces, nephews and friends whom she helped and touched many lives.
