Jeremy Charles Mitchell, Gladwin, MI (formerly of Ypsilanti) age 31, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 21, 2014 at his mother's home in Willis, MI. He was born June 10, 1982 in Ypsilanti, the son of Cynthia A. (Mitchell) Plowman and Edward A. Akers.

Jeremy lived in the Ypsilanti area as a young child and then moved with his mother to Traverse City, MI where he attended school. He loved northern Michigan, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling and skiing. He spent a great deal of time in the Gladwin area where his beloved grandfather lived and where Jeremy eventually settled.

He worked as an automobile salesman and in construction until he was disabled in 2010. Jeremy was a former member of the Zulus Motorcycle Club, where he found his "brothers" and extended family who nicknamed him "Happy." He was "Happy" and proud when riding with his "brothers."
